I am a PhD candidate in the Physics Department at Columbia University. My work focuses on the study of the fundamental constituents of matter, atoms and molecules, at the coldest temperatures physically attainable. This exotic regime provides the perfect environment to investigate the quantum mechanical behavior of the building blocks of our world, refining our ability to control them and our understanding of quantum physics itself.

As a participant of the 2022 Symbiosis competition during the Imagine Science Film Festival, I co-directed the short film "Interference pattern", exploring how filmmaking and quantum physics can come together to reflect upon the nature of our world and our perception of it.
