Harshitra Mahalingam
I majored in Physical Sciences and graduated from Yale-NUS College, Singapore in 2021. Upon graduation, I conducted theoretical condensed matter research at the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials, National University of Singapore for 2 years. My research focused largely on electronic phenomena in 2D materials with defects, and ionic transport in solids. I will be exploring low dimensional materials and topological materials during my time at Columbia.
I love singing and beatboxing, and was part of an a cappella group during my college years!
