Dr. Kerstin Perez awarded the American Physical Society’s 2021 DPF Early Career Instrumentation Award!

March 31, 2022

Dr. Kerstin Perez has been awarded the DPF Early Career Instrumentation Award for the development of novel low-cost, large-area lithium-drifted silicon detectors that open sensitivity to rare low-energy cosmic antinuclei as signatures of dark matter annihilation or decay. These detectors can be used for a broad range of applications. The DPF Instrumentation Award is awarded for outstanding accomplishments in particle physics instrumentation that have had significant impact on the field.
