Bayesian statistical modeling is a powerful technique for quantifying uncertainties in probabilistic machine learning and other analytical fields.  This Python User Group workshop will introduce Bayesian modeling using PyMC3, a python package built on the Theano machine learning library.  Models will be visualized with ArviZ, a python library for exploratory analysis of Bayesian models.  This online session will be led by Roger Creel, a geophysics PhD candidate at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Please register in advance to receive the Zoom information by email.
