Online Event

On January 27th at 6pm ET, join the Columbia University High School Immersion Programs for an interactive info session and preview of three immersive courses. Hear from four instructors who will discuss their research and expertise at the precollege level, as well as current students and alumni who will share insights on their experiences. Learn how these innovative virtual classes make use of mixed media, augmented reality, design thinking, and radical problem-solving in their approaches to teaching high school students skills, cutting-edge science, and business practices for manifesting their own visions of the future. The rich academic engagement of the program is supplemented by workshops taught by Columbia’s Digital Storytelling Lab, adding a uniquely collaborative and social element to students’ learning. An informational Q&A will follow, with the opportunity for participants to ask questions about our program offerings, the application, and the admissions and enrollment process. Attendees of the Q&A will receive an application fee waiver code.
