I work on trapping individual atoms in optical tweezer arrays. This is an excellent platform to study fundamental research as well as technologies involving quantum simulators, memories, atomic clocks, and metrology. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago.
