Columbia Society for Women in Physics

Welcome to the Columbia Society for Women in Physics!

We are a group of undergraduate students, graduate students and postdocs that aims to promote and encourage the participation of women and other underrepresented groups in Physics. Our gatherings provide a friendly, informal and supportive environment where participants can share their experience and seek for advice.

Our next event:
Date:  Wednesday, September 27th, 6pm
Place: Pupin Theory Center, 8th floor of Pupin

Description:

On Wednesday, September 27th we will be getting together for our first meeting of the academic year 2017/18. We are looking forward to meeting our new members and welcoming back returning ones. This will be a casual gathering where you will get to meet fellow members and CSWP coordinators, tell us about yourself, learn more about CSWP and our plans for this academic year.

Undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are welcome. Please spread the word about us and invite friends who are interested.

Food and drinks will be served. An RSVP to dk2844@columbia.edu would be appreciated but is not required to attend.

See you soon,

Becca, Claire and Daria
