There are many sources of help as an undergraduate that you can avail yourself of. Of course, one of your first sources of help should be your class deans who have a comprehensive advising system set-up.
PHYSICS CURRICULUM & COURSES
You should see the Departmental Representative for your school (college, engineering, general studies) within the Physics Department. To see whom this currently is, go to the Department Committee Assignments web page.
The departmental representative will be happy to discuss with you any issues regarding a physics major, required courses, physics concentration, and any other academic matters.
If your question involves a specific course, then you should see the professor teaching that course.
GENERAL ISSUES WITH THE PHYSICS DEPARTMENT:
There may be occasions when you have a matter to discuss involving one of your professors and you feel uncomfortable talking directly with that professor. In this case, you might be more comfortable talking privately with our Physics Department Ombudsman. You can find out who is the current Ombudsman by looking at the Department Committee Assignments web page.
For Help Room schedule please see Labs section under 'Resources for: Students'.
